Extreme Square Drop Deluxe, or ESDD for short, is a game where you remove same-colored adjacent squares from the board to earn points.

In summary, this game has a board of randomly generated squares where the goal is to remove groups of like-colored squares to get the most points possible. The more squares removed at a time, the more points received.

What differentiates this game from other similar drop-style games is our game modes and the "special" squares baked in to make gameplay more exciting and challenging. These special squares include the expanding square, wildcard square, exploding square, death square, and color-changing square. The expanding square will, when removed, eliminate 5 blocks in all 4 directions from the square. The wildcard square can be used as any color, regardless of its base color. The exploding square destroys squares in a 3x3 square (with it as the center). The death square has a timer which, when expired, will cause the game to be over. Color changing squares periodically change color.

This game currently has 3 specific game modes. The first is the "Classic" mode, in which you try to clear the board as much as possible, with a reward for clearing the board and a penalty for leaving squares there. There is also an "Unlimited" mode, which you play until you loose by a death square, with a continuously regenerating board and progressively more advanced gameplay(more colors and special squares). Finally, there is the "Timed" game mode, which while the clock is running acts exactly as the unlimited mode, getting more difficult as you progress. Once the time runs out in this mode, you attempt to clear whatever you can off the board, similar to a classic game.

This game will be available for play as a web-applet directly from the browser soon, and further down the road as an Android application.
