everREST is a project which provides a way to build RESTful applications using own complete implementation of JAX-RS specification (a.k.a JSR-311).

The project's initiator and main contributor is eXo Platform , which started it about 3 years ago with own implementation of Java RESTful framework. Current codebase, donated to everREST, it is fully compatible with JSR-311 specification (JAX-RS) mature, production-ready second version of eXo REST implementation.
