The mobile version of the OPAC offers a reduced feature set of the full OPAC, version 2, but is implemented using the jQuery Mobile framework and so is accessible on a wide range of mobile devices or for low bandwidth connections.

The OPAC provides a web browser interface to an Online Public Access Catalogue and to My Account functions. The OPAC is part of the Evergreen project, which offers a stack of open source software to implement an Integrated Library System.

Note: there seems to be a problem with the master clone not being able to accept changes. It has been reported as an issue (http://code.google.com/p/support/issues/detail?id=28102). In the meantime, the master has been cloned and one is able to push changes to it. Therefore, development will continue at http://code.google.com/r/steven3416-test-evergreen-mobile-opac/source/browse until further notice.
