For that purpose, Euskalbar uses existing online dictionaries like Euskalterm, 3000 Hiztegia, Elhuyar, Morris, Open-tran, Hiztegi Batua, ItzuL artxiboa, Harluxet, Mokoroa, ZT Corpusa, Eurovoc, XUXENweb and Opentrad.

How does Euskalbar work?

Just select the source and target language, type the word to look up and press enter. If you want to search on a specific dictionary, click on the button of the dictionary you want to use. Another way to perform a search is by selecting a text within a web page, doing a right click and selecting the desired dictionary under the Euskalbar submenu. To customize the dictionaries used when enter key is pressed, go to 'Options -> Preferences' menu, choose the 'Advanced look up' tab and select the dictionaries you want to use.
