Enyo is a GUI launcher for Doom running under the Doomsday, prBoom, and Chocolate Doom engine. It is a relaunch of the gDoomsday project under a different name with more functionality.

It was created for use in GNU/Linux, but should work under other systems such as BSD that can use GTK+ (the graphics toolkit Enyo uses).

The current stable version is Enyo 0.6.2.

The current testing version is enyo-doom 0.7.4. Do not use this version unless you like stuff breaking. Please read the changelog if you want to use this version.

An unsupported Windows release, Enyo.NET, is also available for Chocolate Doom and ZDoom, 1.0.2.0.

Download releases here. Preliminary documentation can be found here. Note that documentation refers to the current stable versions and that the testing versions may contain changes and features not documented there -- check the Changelog for any new features or changes in the Testing versions.

NOTE: Enyo will not work with the latest 1.9.7 version of Doomsday. I am considering phasing out official support since it now comes with the Snowberry launcher.
