Things we need to do before our first stable release:

Would be a good idea to support windows media centre keyboards, not sure if lirc can do that, however it would make it easier for converts. Also developing a media centre distrubution based off say ubuntu gutsy. Boot to media centre, then just an install feature

For the future of course

I think a 'content hydra' feature would be good. It would allow you to configure entertainer to poll smb shares and usb storage devices and to automatically pull new content if available. This would allow it to maintain itself as a media hub.

I'd also love to see options in the TV mode for people who dont intend to use tuner. Perhaps bitorrent integration with an index (eg. thepiratebay tv index). Anything that makes the whole system more self sufficient.

Torrent integration would be useless. Usenet integration. All it would have to do is be a front end for newzbin.com, then you click and add posts with your remote. Twenty minutes later, you have a new tv show.
