issue 19 (Displays wrong amount of new gmail messages) reported by toddrpartridge   -   I'm getting an odd behavior with emailnotify. When I first started it said I had 81 new emails. I checked all my emails and labels in gmail and sure enough all emails have been marked as read. Now five minutes later it displays 71 emails. Oh, and just now... BOOM, there goes plasma. Using standard KDE 4.3.1 (Arch Linux). Please let me know if you need any details.

issue 18 (Transactions with some servers fail) reported by marc.legay1   -   I've just seen this problem with one server (over SSL, but It's not the problem), but, there were no error message, and no number of email in the applet. So I took a look a the source and I've just replace (in the emailchecker.cpp) every "\n\r" by a "\r\n" and It's working well for every server I've tried!

issue 15 (Question about re-compile and suggestion) commented on by jonathan.webcom   -   Sorry... I talk before check... I can add some plasmoids and configure each one with different accounts, anyway, it only uses one config ("General"), I will try to modify that to use different configs (one per each account). I did the change on the text as I said and now i see the change, i needed to restart X. Also I added a new value on the config side, the "Alias" field, then I used that field on the plasmoid, so it leave: "{Alias}: X", it's better because I can do the plasmoids smaller. Thanks anyway.

issue 15 (Question about re-compile and suggestion) reported by jonathan.webcom   -   First of this is not a problem or issue, I just used your plasmoid and found something that maybe is interesting. I though that I can config some accounts, when i see that it's not possible, i though that i could add some plasmoids and then config each one with a different account, but that was not possible too. So, I think that it need to have a multiple account configuration... then i though that it should change the label that say: "You have X new messages" to something like: "{server_name}: X" so, when someone have multiple account, he will know which one is. Another question I want to do is about re-compiling. I change the code of "email_notify.cpp", where it says "You have..." I changed the text, recompile, remake and re install, but I dont see the changes... should I need to do something else? I tried uninstalling the plasmoid first, but i have no success. Best Regards, Jonathan

issue 5 (Added support for local mail-dir mail box.) commented on by jeremysanders   -   Hi - do get mbox support, all you need to do is scan a text file. I've got an example mbox mail checker plasmoid which scans /var/spool/mail/username. See attached source code for the plasmoid. See mailcounter.h and mailcounter.cc kdepim includes an mbox ioslave too. If you want to add support for mbox, the user should be able to specify the mbox file, or $MAIL would be used by default, or if that is not available, /var/spool/mail/username.

issue 13 (Plasmoid not appearing as expected) reported by combinedeffort.com   -   Not sure if this is a defect or me being stupid, but... When the plasmoid launches, the only thing that appears is a small circle (see attached image, I've added a red circle to illustrate). When mail arrives, the 'dot' will display the number of unread emails on a mouse-over, but I was expecting some sort of visual cue that there is email, e.g. an email icon appearing in the plasmoid. Perhaps that isn't the designed functionality here? I'm using KDE SVN (i.e 4.1) and emailnotify SVN on Gentoo. Cheers, Rich.
