issue 5 (Einstein needs fix for windows) reported by mikorian@copper.net   -   Our team has determined that your emulator DOES NOT execute with 2 valid ROM image files when running under windows. This same pair of images loads, boots, and operates correctly on the macintosh. Please repair your program! Thank you.

issue 4 (The dreaded ROM issue - I have one) reported by mikorian@copper.net   -   Pardon me in advance for being a little ticked off... I can't help it. I Was FINALLY able to GET a ROM image - took me 4 months over time. Einstein Ver 7.6 running on Windows98SE (win32) My Newton: MP2100 USA Says: Booting and sits there with a black screen. CAN'T CLOSE the window, but I can re-size, move, and call up the settings. I have to forcefully EJECT the program. By the way - DID YOU SAY YOU CAN'T use the keyboard - Bogus dudes... I got my image from my newton with the TCP/IP ROM dumper using EINSTEIN'S OWN DOWNLOAD FUNCTION. I had also tried using the debugger pkg with hammer on my basilisk emulator and it was very complicated and kept giving me exceptions again and again, so I gave up. PLEASE don't tell me my image isn't valid - YOU PEOPLE are the ones distributing this software. I JUST USED IT - TWICE. CAN I send you the image as proof, and you fix it or something else? (Neither of these extraction methods is very easy by the way) Frankly I am wondering if I am an idiot, or what the heck everybody is raving about this emulator for. Please help me - I want to program it is NSBasic without wearing out my real MP.

issue 3 (Compiling Einstein for Maemo OS 2008--can't install arm cros...) commented on by jonathan.dueck   -   Looks like it's been reported a few months back with Ticket #16662 (https://trac.macports.org/ticket/16662). There's a patchfile, but I don't believe it's been incorporated into the official Port. (Testing it with Macports / update / command line above reveals the same error, Macports 1.70.)

issue 3 (Compiling Einstein for Maemo OS 2008--can't install arm cros...) reported by jonathan.dueck   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Follow Build Instructions for Nokia (OS X) 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected to see cross compiler installed. Instead MacPorts reaches "Building", and then reports "error 2" and does not build cross compiler. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Current version Einstein; MacPorts 1.7, using command "sudo port install arm-none-linux- gnueabi-gcc" Please provide any additional information below.
