Procedure for an Eddie Release

Core:

• Update __version__ string in bin/eddie.py
• Update doc/CHANGES.txt with the important changes from the svn logs.
• Create a tarball & zip from an svn export of trunk. E.g.

$ svn export https://secure.thoh.net/svn/eddie-tool/eddie/trunk eddie-0.36
$ tar cvzf eddie-0.36.tgz eddie-0.36
$ zip -r eddie-0.36.zip eddie-0.36

• Copy the tarball & zip to the public download area.
• Copy doc/manual.html to the web server.
• Update HTML files on web server:
• download/index.html
• download/download.html
• index.html

Freshmeat:

• Add Release at http://freshmeat.net/projects/eddietool/

PYPI:

• Add Release at http://pypi.python.org/pypi?%3Aaction=pkg_edit&name=EDDIE-Tool
