What is ed4g

The Eclipse-Databinding Framework is an implementation for generic Model-Synchronisation which is not bound very tightly to the Eclipse framework and it's core component org.eclipse.core.databinding can be ported GWT.

ED4G will provide implementation for UI-Observables who can be used in GWT-Applications. To ease development it will provide development snapshots of the underlying Eclipse-Technologies who are ported to GWT (e.g. org.eclipse.core.databinding, ...) and because the ports require GWT-1.5 the repository also holds a snapshots of the current GWT-Subversion repository.

The main development for the core components like org.eclipse.core.databinding is not the scope of this project but is done under the umbrella of the Eclipse Foundation. For more information see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Techs_For_GWT.
