Eavesdrop is a network capture application (based on libpcap) that displays and collates packets via plugins. It understands TCP conversations and can extract the payload of each conversation as it is captured. Future plugins will allow other types of decoding and aggregation. Version 0.6 is a ground up re-write of the version currently in release and is not feature complete at this point. The trunk is still the released version, however (0.5a4), go to the branches to get the newer code. Visit the Home Page for more information. |
