This page provide instructions on downloading, installing, running, and using the e-Ho'omaluo V2.0 system.

[java] 353 [main] INFO org.mortbay.log - Started SocketConnector@0.0.0.0:7075 2.2 Navigate to the start pageOpen a browser and enter the URL outputted when after starting the process. You are now running the e-Ho'omaluo system. 3.0 Using e-Ho'omaluoThe following shows the start page. A short description about the system is displayed on the homepage. The system offers two main features: the grid information page and the carbon status page. Navigate to each page by clicking on the respective tabs.
3.1 Grid InformationThe grid information page displays a chart reflecting energy generated based on data for a particular date range and source. The page may take a few seconds to load. Once the page has loaded, pick a source by clicking on the drop down box on the grid information page and selecting one of sources. The drop down box is circled in blue on the screen shot below. Select a start and end date by clicking the calendar icons and selecting a date from the pop up calendar. The calendar icons are circled in red on the screen shot below. Once the source and dates have been selected, click the submit button to produce the energy chart. The second screen shot displays an example with a generated chart.
3.2 Carbon StatusThe carbon status page displays a carbon emitted indicator that is dynamically updated at the start of every hour. There are three carbon indicator images: green for low carbon emitted, yellow for moderate carbon emitted, and red for high carbon emitted. Along with the carbon indicator images the page displays the last updated time for the current carbon indicator displayed and the next update time.
