Duplicati is a free backup client that securely stores encrypted, incremental, compressed backups on cloud storage services and remote file servers. Duplicati is open source software (LGPL), written in C# and available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. The Duplicati project started as "duplicity for Windows" but then went its own way.

Duplicati is developed by volunteers who spend their time and money to develop Duplicati further and make it available for free. All donations go to the project and are used to e.g. buy online storage of commercial providers for testing purposes.
