DSPL-R is a library for the R statistical environment that allows users to use Google DSPL datasets as data for processing within an R environment. It also prepares data frames within R based on the statistical metadata with a DSPL package, and allows users to read statistical metadata within R.

DSPL-R is meant to act as a demonstration as how statistical analysis software can incorporate data and metadata and use both to their fullest advantage.
