Planned features include:

• easy access to SD memory via the MMC/SPI protocol (also works with SPI-supporting MMC cards ;-)
• an LCD for easy debugging

We'd also like to use a pure open-source toolchain, but aren't sure if it is worth re-implementing the libraries
