DroidSeries

DroidSeries is a TV shows browser and tracker application for Android. Tacking down TV series, episodes, air dates, etc, is a difficult task as there are so many TV shows. DroidSeries will help you manage your favorite TV shows and keep track of the episodes that you have or have not seen.

Joaquim Rocha created an app for Maemo called SeriesFinale and I can say that this concept is his idea. I just wanted to have it on Android so I made a similar one.

This version is still very fresh and may have lots of bugs. Help us by testing it and reporting the bugs!

How does it work?

DroidSeries uses http://thetvdb.com (thanks to its XML API) as a TV Sreries provider. The only thing needed is Internet connection to search TheTVDB. When a user chooses to add a Serie, all of the Series data is downloaded and saved in a sqlite database. This way all operations, except searching for a Serie to add or updating, can be made offline.

• Browse throe a Serie viewing details on each season
• Mark episodes as seen/unseen
• It's possible to mark a entire season as seen, unseen or mark all seasons as seen up to the selected season
• View the TV shows Details
• View the TV shows Poster
• View the episodes details
• Update a TV shows
• Update all TV shows (This operation may take some time depending on the number os TV shows you have)
