What are the differences between the admin and the member profiles?

The differences between the admin and the member profiles are:

Users who have administrator profile can manage all the forum. This users can add members, edit and delete the forum, create, edit and delete topics and make replys no matter the forum access. Users who have member profile can not manage all the forum. This users can not add members, can not edit the forum, can create topics, edit the topics created by him and delete it, but can not edit or delete topics created by other users. Reply the topics created by him, but can not reply topics created by other users.

Is it possible to link discussions to other objects (client, opportunity, project, etc)?
