The Digital-Tunes API gives the developer access to all the music data on the Digital-Tunes store (http:/www.digital-tunes.net), making it easy for developers to build custom applications and widgets that draw on this information.

Currently the API allows you to query Releases, Tracks, Artists, Labels and Genres, with News articles, Profiles, and Charts arriving in the coming months.



Don't forget you can also make use of our RSSFeeds to keep up to date with new releases, even if you are not a developer.

Generate an API Key

Before you can start playing with the API, you will need to register your application at http://www.digital-tunes.net/affiliates/new

After registration an API Key will be generated, make sure you keep this somewhere safe as you will need this key to authenticate your requests.

Have a play around

Check out the APIDocumentation, and have a play around using your browser. You won't need to do any fancy authentication, all you need is your API key to get started.
