Deville is a Java API for working with the OpenCalais web service.

The API will ultimately include:

• A client for the OpenCalais API. The client uses the HTTP POST interface rather than the SOAP service

• Tools to integrate the service into Jena applications, e.g. storing retrieved data in triple stores; applying SPARQL to the service results; annotating data in a store based on responses, etc.

The initial focus is on implementing a stable client for Release 2 of the website.
