OpenDiscussion
Updated Sep 14, 2008 by chad.myers

This page describes what an "Open Discussion" is in the context of Days of TDD

An Open Discussion will...

  • attempt to provide deeper insight to people already in the know or with specific questions that might not be answerable via concrete terms. A few example topics might include:
    • Discussions on interacting with teammates when pair programming
    • How tests should be structured from a logical standpoint
    • How to convince management that automated unit testing is important and reduces costs overall, etc.
  • take form according to the will of the participants. The form can/may include "Fishbowl style, Lightning Talk, a mini-CodingDojo style, some combination of all these, or something else entirely.
  • hopefully have some product at the end (notes, outline, audio/video recording, etc)
