Is there any difference between them?

I just did the download/patch part above. Haven't tried to compile/run yet. The patch worked, but with a lot of fuzz... is this known/expected?:

...
patching file priv/guest_x86_defs.h
Hunk #1 succeeded at 159 with fuzz 2 (offset -5 lines).
patching file priv/guest_amd64_helpers.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 2357 with fuzz 1 (offset 128 lines).
patching file priv/guest_amd64_toIR.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 17508 with fuzz 2 (offset 756 lines).
patching file priv/guest_amd64_defs.h
Hunk #1 succeeded at 156 with fuzz 2 (offset -8 lines).
patching file priv/guest_x86_helpers.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 2491 with fuzz 1 (offset 127 lines).
patching file priv/guest_x86_toIR.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 14825 with fuzz 2 (offset 48 lines).

kfitch42: Yes, there may be some fuzz, because the underlying code has changed a bit after the patch was prepared.

Please consider trying out the new branch supported by Julian Seward (see the update of this page)
