Selection of the coordinate system

The initial page provides a coordinate system selection. Coordinate systems is a convention about how to describe data, provided by DAS servers. Usually, one DAS server serves a particular type of data for a particular organism only. For more information about what coordinate system mean, please refer to the following description. Different modes present different functionalities of writeback: adding a new feature, modifying an existing feature, and deleting of a feature.

Insert new feature

A simple submission form, that enables to post data to the server. User should enter the fields, whereas the required are marked with an asterisk. To submit the changes the user clicks on a respective "Add", "Modify" or "Delete" button (bottom right).

Show features

Show features page. Here, a summary information about features stored in the corresponding coordinate system is shown. Two links "edit" and "history" are provided for each data-row. The link "edit" redirects to the submission form, where the user can make and save changes. Link "history" redirects to the history page, where one can view history of modifications of the selected feature.

History

History page. It is an archive of modifications of a feature. Its interface is similar to the "Show features" page, except for the additional fields : AC- TION, USER, DATE, MESSAGE. The ACTION field identifies which type of action was performed: "M" - modified, "D" - deleted. The USER field shows OpenID indentificator of the user that made the changes, and DATE indicates when the changes were made. The MESSAGE field is a free-text message, informing about the modification.

Add group

Add group page. This page enables to add new groups. It is executed by the link "add" on the submission form, located near groups drop-down list.
