Mac 10.8 prefers downloadable binaries to be signed as an "identified developer". Without this, admin privileges are required to change the default security setting on the mac. This may not always be possible.

I don't know if others are seeing this, but Mountain Lion basically forces me to re-apply this setting in the control panel every time I get a new Editor build.

If others are seeing this, it would be worth addressing this sooner.

Dan, Yes, I see this, which might be a Google setting. In any case, it's a pain.

Beginning with the M6 release (i.e. trunk r26639), we're signing applications for mac and executables for windows.

Please note that our continuous builds from bleeding_edge are not signed and will not be signed in the future.

Added Fixed label.
