Dart Editor version 1.6.0.dev_09_06 (DEV)
Dart SDK version 1.6.0-dev.9.6
Mac OSX 10.9.4 (Google)

Dart Editor is in a continuous build cycle.

The status message goes through this cycle:

  1. Building workspace (25%)
  2. Refreshing workspace
  3. <blank>

Message 1 displays for many seconds. It is replaced by message 2, which displays for less than half a second. That gives way to message 3, which displays for about half a second. Then back to message 1.

I opened the editor in an empty workspace then opened the existing chromedeveditor-master folder. I can't remember if that ever finished analysis, but I don't think so. Impatiently, I selected build.dart and ran it to initialize CDE. Then I launched CDE and it appeared to run. Then I shut down the editor, restarted, and began seeing this message cycle. So, I shut it down again, restarted, Reanalyze Sources, and after that "finished" it settled into the 3-step cycle.

I've been watching it for at least 15 min now. It only displays those three messages that I can see. Since message 2 sometimes flashes so quickly I cannot read it, and sometimes does not appear at all, I can't be certain no other messages are being produced (because they may be overwritten before I even see them).

Is this a regression? Does it happen with Dart Editor 1.5?

Please try this out in CDE and let me know if it is still a problem.
