I wish I had the ability to format just a selection, not the whole file.

For example, I'm in the middle of some large file, adding a bit of new code, or re-arranging a small bit of existing code. It's formatting is messy. I wish I could use the formatter to clean it up, but if I do that it will change several hundred other places in the code, some of which I might not agree with, and even if I agree with all of them I don't want to send my change to review mixed up with hundreds of formatting changes. So I either don't use the formatter, or I take my code, paste it into a new file, format it there, and paste it back again. Which doesn't always work.
