The workaround option is to ignore the message. It just won't do anything if it doesn't find it. |

This comment was originally written by heikkiklappal...@gmail.com Since this path in error message seems very weird; I commented this thread: Error: Cannot find MDN docs expected at C:\Users\Public\dart\utils/apidoc/mdn/database.json so \ / in path?! funny. But sicne instruction is: "ignore" I continue my searching: "why docgen do not show me those json.files in doc folder AND |
That message only indicates that it can't find pre-downloaded MDN docs, which it will incorporate into the dart:html docs if they are present. It should not affect your ability to generate docs. |
New work is happening at https://github.com/dart-lang/dartdoc which does not support MDN integration. Added NotPlanned label. |
When running docgen:
Cannot find MDN docs expected at [sdk path]/utils/apidoc/mdn/database.json
I'd expect this to be an option (hidden?) in docgen with the default behavior to do nothing
