Introduction

Primary purpose of this app is to allow Android device users to view text in custom fonts without the need to get root access of the system.

This page will reflect most recent version of the app.

Installation

  • You will need to download .apk file and install manually. Here is one way to do it:
    • Download latest .apk file into your computer
    • Connection your device to computer
    • Copy .apk file onto device's memory
    • Open .apk file on the device (for example, using Astro) and install it

How to view text in different fonts

Currently, following fonts are supported

Copyright of these fonts are owned by their original owners. Please check links provided above for more information.

Step 1: Copy text

  • Copy text from original app such as browser.

Step 2: Open App

  • Open Custom Font Text Viewer app
  • Tap on the text editor

Step 3: Paste text

  • Pop-up menu will appear
  • Tap on Paste

Step 4: Controls

  • Previously copied text will be copied into text editor
  • Tap on OK key to view that text in Zaw Gyi One font
  • Tap on Cancel key to remove text from text editor
  • Tap on Clear key to clear the text displayed.

Step 5: Choose font

  • If the font is not correct, tap on Menu key

  • When menu is displayed, click on "Choose Font"
  • List of available fonts will be displayed
  • Tap on desired font
