CURLHANDLE was created as a cocoa wrapper around the curl library for use by Watson. Since it was made available in October 2001, it has been used by a number of Cocoa applications. It is a subclass of NSURLHandle (which is deprecated, but still in use).
The code base has not been updated in quite a while. This is an attempt to bring it up to full Intel compatibility.
This is in the public domain (dual-licensed as New BSD since that's one of Google Code's choices), so you can use this for any project you wish!
(However, I respectfully ask for credit for the framework, and if you use it in your application, especially a commercial application, please show my your appreciation by sending me something from my my Amazon.com wish list)
But please report any improvements by filing a new issue here.
There is a discussion group at Yahoo!.
