Cube Assistant is a software timer and assistant for speedcubers, i.e. people who dare to solve Rubik's cube fast. At the moment, Cube Assistant is in early development phase, however it's fully usable. Check SVN for details.

Planned features of Cube Assistant include:

• Generating scrambles for many types of puzzles
• Integrated timer with averages, personal records etc.
• History of previous solves with charts and graphs
• Extensible, modular architecture
• On-line duels
• Backend server for on-line competitons

Cube Assistant is written in Python, however the timer engine is provided as a C module to reduce any overhead and provide better responsiveness. If you'd like to, Cube Assistant is easily extendable, just take look at ModuleHowto.
