What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Screen resolution of 2560 x 1440
2. Try to open cluster with 39 terminals
3. Immense input lag

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Terminals should receive commands near instant, instead commands are heavily 
delayed and incomplete, for instance "ls -l" will instead type "l -l", missing 
the "s".  This issue doesn't appear in screen resolution of 1920 x 1080, only 
higher resolutions.

What version of csshX (do a "csshX -v") are you using? On what operating
system version?

csshX  0.74 (Mac OSX 10.7)

I have this same issue, but i find the number to vary between machines.  On an 
i5 27in iMac with 12GB ram and 1GB spinner I can get just over 30 windows with 
no lag, but on my 15in i7 MBP with 8GB ram and 256GB SSD anything over 20 
windows gets to be laggy.   the one really strange thing is that a paste of a 
long command line into even 80 windows on the iMac works flawlessly (which has 
been my work around)
