This project will allow native sip for android device.

It relies on the pjsip sip stack and use a modified version of the pjsip-jni project.

The use of this native library will ensure a better speed, call quality and less battery consumption than equivalent pure java projects.

Another point is that this project will be compatible with most of SIP registrar and take advantage of the active development of the pjsip C stack.

You can choose to use the secure version of CSipSimple that has additional features such as ZRTP, SIP TLS and SRTP : http://nightlies.csipsimple.com/trunk/. It's now included in trunk version and the future release of CSipSimple will include that as a core feature.

Globally, if you want to participate to alpha testing of the application, use nightly builds and have the latest features : http://nightlies.csipsimple.com/

If you encounter any issue, please join and ask on the user group : http://groups.google.com/group/csipsimple-users (csipsimple-users@googlegroups.com). This mailing list will be helpful when you don't know how to configure the application with your server.
