Introduction

Mac-On-Linux will be installed by default, so you can use your existing OS 9 and OS X systems from within Copland. Eat your heart out, Apple.

PearPC and Sheepshaver will also be available for installation. Sheepshaver runs OS 9 emulated, and PearPC runs OS X emulated. I'll have to check on this, but I think Sheepshaver, when run on a PowerPC, can also use a kind of virtualisation without the need for extra kernel modules. Please add to this wiki if I am incorrect.

Sheepshaver and PearPC require an existing Macintosh ROM, which will not be provided. You will be expected to retrieve it from your computer (I think it has to be .hqx'ed).
