Introduction

Copland is a Linux distribution for PowerPC. I believe this is the first community distribution to be available exclusively for the PowerPC desktop. The idea of the distribution is to make Linux migration easy for current Mac OS users, by providing a useful set of programs, the ability to access existing files and convert Mac formats into Open ones.

What do we need?

• Artists - lots of art needed!
• Python programmers (you don't need to be a real whizz)
• Qemu User-mode emulation experts
• Documenters
• People to submit the output of these commands:
• cat /proc/cpuinfo
• cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
