So far, the only way to cancel a scrape is from the Series Match or Issue Match forms. The main form does not have a way to cancel (which can be annoying if re-scraping a large set of books and the Series/Issue Match forms don't pop up).

Can we alter things to be able to cancel at anytime?

You should be able to cancel by closing any of the dialogs in the scraper while it is running (i.e. the main window, the progress bar dialog, etc.) Just use the red X in the top right corner of the window.

Did end up doing that, but it threw an error. Maybe this just doesn't die gracefully?

Yeah, definitely sounds like a bug.

Could you attach that debug log from that error?

Hmm... I can't seem to recreate it. Might happen only if you cancel at a certain point in the script. If I see it again, I'll post the log

Thanks, I'll try to reproduce it too.

I rewrote the cancelling architecture entirely for issue 121 (1.0.28), so the code that would have this bug doesn't exist anymore.
