MergingPlainTextDirectories
Coelacanth should be able to Merge Plain Text Directories

Introduction

The intention for Coelacanth is that a user should be able to save his or her passwords in text files in a directory. That directory is assumed to be saved on an encrypted file system, such as provided by True Crypt.

The encrypted files could be put onto a USB pendrive or similar and carried around by the user.

Inevitably, if a user carriers the encrypted files around in this way, the repositories are going to get out of synch with one and another.

Coelacanth should be able to merge the plain text directories of password text files. If there is a conflict within an individual file, the newer password should have precedence but the older password should be retained commented out.
