The Candy Suite

The Candy Suite is a set of terminal-only programs, intended to make life on the command line safer, faster, and more fun. The Candy Suite varies from full-blown programs to simple time-saving aliases.

Alphabetical Listing of Available Candy

The following programs are available in the SVN repo right now:

• crunk - The C RUN Kit:
• demac - De-Mac:
• demacs - De-Emacs: Removes all the Emacs autosave~ tilde-files in the directory in which it is run
• gcode - GCode: Automatic SVN checkout of any Google Code project, with and without project login
• hush - Hush: Toggles the ~/.hushlogin file to enable/disable the MOTD at login
• junk - Java rUN Kit:
• mimies - Mimies: Make a quick timestamp before and after going to bed during periods of crazy schedules
• oscar - Oscar: The NATO Phonetic Alphabet at your fingertips ("Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta", etc.)
• plux - Plus X: Save milliseconds of work and typing with this automated chmod +x; ls tool
• trash - Trash: Protect yourself from rm-regret; instead, trash the file and it is moved to ~/.Trash/ just in case.

As I look in my development folder, I'm currently counting 54 programs, most of which are almost ready to share. Of those 54, only the 10 listed above are available in the current SVN repo as of the time this was written.
