Content Injection and Control Protocol is HTTP for virtual worlds. It allows a program or intelligence existing outside a virtual world such as Second Life, Sun Wonderland, or Forterra's OLIVE to inject objects into a virtual space that users in the space can interact with. Interaction with the objects causes messages to be sent back to the intelligence which injected them; the intelligence can then modify the objects or create new ones in response.
