This project is for the flash Chumby-compatible United States local weather radar app you can find here. The app displays animated public domain images from the National Weather Service site. Users are able to set the location, zoom level, and radar type and drag the radar image to see other areas of the map.

Radar Types: NCR=Composite, N0R=Base, N0V=Velocity, N1P=One hour preciptation, NTP=Total storm precipitation

Radar Images are sourced from http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/lite/ where each sub-directory corresponds to a radar type and the file names are pre-pended with the radar id (regional location). Radar ids can be found here.

The project was built using Flash AS2 (for backwards compatibility with the Sony Dash) using the open source flashdevelop tool found at http://www.flashdevelop.org. The source root directory contains the primary app while the chumby_weather_config directory contains the configuration screen.
