InformationWith the ARM7_Go exploit, we have recently figured out how to use the hardware AES engine to get keys and IVs for files from the 2.1.1 firmware. This page will be updated as we decrypt more keys. To use the IV/key pairs, get xpwntool from the xpwn project on Github, and to use the root filesystem key, get vfdecrypt. Several people have questions about the significance of this. Basically, now we have what we need to do the next steps to the jailbreak, which is patch the kernel and write a ramdisk. So, we're pretty close, but not there yet. Without further ado, here are the keys! Thanks to CPICH for writing the code to use the AES engine, AriX for decrypting the keys, and chronic, ius, and pod2g for figuring out how to write payloads for the exploit! hey chronic, with the file system which area is the one that needs to be modded inorder to customize it with cydia. Also after loading the image and applying the 0wnboot.bin how do you get the system to start up. Using the command fsboot cause the system to hang up and become unresponsive.
Hey chronic, I'm trying to do the jailbreak by directly patching nand0b with bdev instead of creating my own ramdisk. Trouble is there's not a whole lot of documentation on that command. Do you have any ideas how to write back to the nand with bdev? Or how to send a 400MB image to the device?
OMg my question right now is, how long will it be beefore the jailbreak it relesed? everyone said Sunday(wasnt realesed) then monday(wasnt released) an so on.
