User-Agent	Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/6.0.466.0 Safari/534.3

os: ubuntu 10.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to any webpage (i.e. www.google.de)
2. right click and choose inspect element
3. the resulting tab in the lower window called elements is empty

What is the expected result?


What happens instead?

Same for me.

Using Chrome 6.0.466.0 on Debian Squeeze. I did not have this problem with the previous version of Chrome.

Works for me on ToT on ubuntu. Did you install into clear folder? Did you restart Chromium after update?

I restart after install and delete inspector folder before install, but inspector still don't work...

I just tested it after deleting ~/.config/google-chrome directory an reinstalling chrome -> no result in inspector.

Also tried it with chromium the same way (but chromium dir) -> same result

Same here on Debian/Unstable. Inspector showing nothing even with a clean ~/.config/google-chrome

I've just checked this on 6.0.474.0 (53172) and it works fine for me.

I can't test this. But with Chromium 6.0.473.0 (Developer Build 53140) still not working.

I just downloaded http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/linux/2010-07-21/53172/chrome-linux.zip and tried it.
I doesn't work (even after deleting ~/.config/chromium dir)

Ok, we are getting reports that we have problems on non-US locales. Thanks for your report, will keep investigating.

Fixed upstream http://trac.webkit.org/changeset/63822. Thanks for everyone's reports and patience. It has been locale-specific and took us a bit longer to repro than usual.
