Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 4: UNKNOWN
  Firefox 3.x: OK
         IE 7: OK
         IE 8: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a 1x1 transparent pixel gif file.
2. Make a website that displays it either as a background or stretched
3. Take screenshot and use eye dropper tool on background/gif area

What is the expected result?
Color should be the same on background and in area of gif.

What happens instead?
Area covered by gif is 1 shade darker on all channels. Eg. #FFFFFF is #FEFEFE

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Attached screenshot of the bug as well as "enhanced" version for those with eye-dropper tool deficiency.
