Chrome Version : 4.1.249.1059 (Official Build 44723) unknown URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: Firefox 3.x: IE 7: IE 8: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Running SunSpider 2. 3. What is the expected result? About 275 ms. What happens instead? About 460 ms. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. I used to be able to pull about 275 ms on the sunspider test. Opera 10.51 still gets about 212 ms on the test, but now the latest google chrome has me doing about 460 ms. I assure you, I am not exactly a beginner computer use, so there is nothing wrong with my Pc.

This is not a SunSpider version issue. It seems to be an issue with the 1059 build. The 1045 and 1059 builds use the same V8 version, but the sunspider score is much worse on 1059 than 1045.

Perhaps a WebKit roll during that period?

Evan, it's a branch, right? So probably not?

This is fixed in 249.1064. We changed the compiler back to 2005. Not sure what the issue is with 249 and VS2008, but V8 speeds seem to be fine on later branches (375) build with 2008.
