Chrome Version : 4.0.211.7 (Official Build 26751) in IE6 URLs (if applicable) : n/a Other browsers tested: n/a Installed Chrome frame last week. Wasn't really working properly, as noted in issue #22790 . Decided to see if I could update. Update button was greyed out in IE6 addon management and saw no option to delete. Decided to attempt reinstall. Installer went through entire 17 MiB download of Chrome, then halted with an "error 1" Attempted it twice. |

Uninstalling from Add/Remove Programs worked (not terribly familiar with Windows so that didn't immediately occur to me). Once this was done, the reinstall proceeded normally. Still, could stand to be a bit more clear that that was the problem. |

With CF 4.0.211.7 installed in IE6, I did an reinstall from CF official website(same version 4.0.211.7), it does have problem when reinstalling. While I didn't meet an "error 1", instead a "unspecified error", see screen-shot for reference. When reinstalling a CF build against on the same existed build, the expected behavior should be doing an overinstall or prompting user with some meaningful message.
