Issue 15952: Custom frame min/max/close designed after Windows Vista

Reported by CalebEgg, Jul 04, 2009
Chrome Version: 3.0.192.0~svn20090703r19907-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty
OS + version: Ubuntu Jaunty
CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32
window manager: Nautilus

I'm not sure if this is something that warrants fixing, but the
minimize/maximize/close buttons in the custom frame were very obviously
modeled on the buttons in Vista's Aero theme, and do not visually fit in
with either Gnome or KDE. I know that the custom frame is optional, and that
it would be impossible to appease everyone on this point, and I'm not sure
if themes can fix this, but I thought I would at least put it up to
discussion.

How to activate the "custom frame"?
Comment 2 by CalebEgg, Jul 05, 2009
Right click on the tab bar and uncheck "Use system title bar and borders"
Comment 3 by est...@chromium.org, Jul 06, 2009
CCing relevant people. I don't know if we plan to let chromium themes alter those
buttons.

If the people I have nagged about this before forget about it, I can make some
graphics myself.

Why don`t take off the square lines around the icons minimize, maximize and close?
The visual would be cleaner and different from Aero.

I think they could use a little more padding. They're all squished together, and
squished against the top of the frame.

Also that bikeshed should be a little more blue.
