Please note that this patch also includes a shortcut to the JS console which has
already been added (CRTL+SHIFT+J).

Isn't this already done? http://codereview.chromium.org/5661 seems already submitted
(with IDC_SHOW_JS_CONSOLE changed to IDC_DEV_TOOLS_CONSOLE).

Hey Andy,

thanks for the quick change but I'm afraid I have to tell that the
implementation as of snapshot build versioned 6.0.467.0 (52343) has
the hotkey Cmd-Shift-BackSpace instead of Cmd-Shift-Delete.

Additionally Cmd-Shift-BackSpace does not trigger anything if
say you're on the start page after a fresh browser start and the
focus is a google search input box. Cmd-T works, Cmd-O works but
Cmd-Shift-BackSpace only works if I click anywhere else than the input
form of the search box like any other part of the html page which is
not a form element.

Confirmed that it's Cmd+Shift+Backspace not Delete.

Interface Builder doesn't let you assign the PC-style Delete key as a key equivalent. New Mac keyboards label the Backspace key as Delete, too, so this is going back to Fixed. This will also be better for laptop users who don't have the forward-delete key.
