Doesn't look at all related to Pepper. It's crashing on NULL inside RtlUserThreadStart, with Avast DLLs loaded inside the sandbox. That's almost certainly faulty hooking from the Avast AV software, and it seems to be happening elsewhere when the Avast DLLs are loaded. Looks like they need to be blocked; I'll add snxhk.dll and aswjsflt.dll to the broken to the kTroublesomeDlls blacklist.

Just to clarify, could try disabling Avast Antivirus temporarily, restarting Chrome, and seeing if SimCity Social works?

Hm... I can see from the crash report that Avast has broken hooks that are still causing problems. Please paste about:extensions into the omnibox, locate anything with "Avast" in the name, and disable it. Then restart Chrome and give it another try.

Sorry, the crash report shows that Avast is still injected into the sandboxed process and it's still crashing inside a faulty system call hook. Unfortunately, AV software tends to be a bit destructive in hooking other applications, and is difficult to disable properly short of uninstalling it entirely. I will add the Avast DLLs to our blacklist today and you should be able to test on tomorrow's canary.

I keep have Shockwave Flash crash on me when trying to play Pioneer Trail on FaceBook. It did happen for a while when entering Cafe World, then started working properly for that game. Here is my error report:
====================================================================================
Chrome Version: 22.0.1229.94
Operating System: Windows 7

URL (if applicable) where crash occurred:
https://apps.facebook.com/pioneertrail/
Can you reproduce this crash? Yes. (I can't stop it from happening!)

What steps will reproduce this crash? (or if it's not reproducible, what were you doing just before the crash)?

1. Click a game post on FaceBook for Pioneer Trail
2. Click on "Play Pioneer Trail" in tab
3.

I used to play on my husband's computer, running avast!, with no problems, then started having Flash act funny, but could usually get through. Now, on my new/refurb HP EliteBook (not using avast!, haven't downloaded it yet), I have spotty performance, but only (as far as I can tell) affecting this one game! I need user-friendly help, I'm not a programmer or developer.
