about:os-credits is stale; it includes stuff that we no longer use, like clutter. Is it supposed to get updated manually?

Posted on Nov 30, 2010 by Massive ElephantI have written a script that produces a 13 MB file containing licenses for all of the packages that are installed on a board. It fetches the packages' tarballs, looks for well-known license filenames within them, and then falls back to using $LICENSE from the ebuild. I've hardcoded the license types for packages that are missing $LICENSE. I'm trying to make the output smaller now.

Posted on Nov 30, 2010 by Massive ElephantI've committed the updated version (whittled down to a bit over 4 MB):
trunk: http://codereview.chromium.org/5357010 552d: http://codereview.chromium.org/5281014
I also opened issue 9751 to track generating this file automatically at build time.
