Please provide any additional information below. Poking around a little, I get the impression there is a basically a small upside-down L shape of non-functionality for this feature (about halfway left on the top of the icon and all the way down the right of the icon). I assume this is a bug because the biggest benefit of having the icon to me seems to be the quick flick and click capability -- at the moment, I have to take another second or so to hover my cursor over a working section.

We are going to change this functionality in the next few builds, it should be less confusing.

Issue 13389 has been merged into this issue.

Has this functionality been changed yet? If so, I'm confused about how: I especially like what Caleb said about Fitts's law in Issue 13389.

I'd love an explanation or an explanation and a time line.

I don't know what the resolution meant either. Maybe that the window switcher may go away at some point? (Nothing concrete about this, as far as I'm aware.) I'm going to reopen issue 13389, since it's a bit more general.
