A tweet currently will break at random characters. A word that doesn't fit a line should be put on the next line, not one character on the line and the others on the next line.
1) I agree with implementing word-wrap properly (mentioned above) 2) automatically clearing the textbox after sending a tweet, and/or have a button to clear it.
The number of new tweets usually is more than how many are actually "new". I've had 2 new tweets today, but it still says something around 21. When I view the list and scroll down, the counter disappears, but later the count will include many which I've already seen again.
Ha ha, OK I change my request about the number of new tweets to a different wish:
1) Provide a check of new versions available.
2) When I download a new version, have it replace the old one, and not install a second Metrist button on my Chrome toolbar, AND remember my login details and settings

Wrap links the most usefull. Some convetient way to paste pictures with auto publish them on twitpic etc.

发推的textarea希望默认能隐藏，需要时再滑出；还是想看到via/from什么source发的推；另外回复的status最好也能链到；由于众所周知的原因，希望最少能自定义查看profile什么的链接，当然能做到提取回来直接查看更好（于是fo, unfo, block, spam之类会很方便）；至于shortenURL、list、图床嘛。。。总之加油/

1.查询功能。搜关键词和人；2.搜到某个人后能follow；3.Metrist能置顶，能随意拖拽位置和改变大小，拖到窗口边沿能自动隐藏，鼠标移动窗口边沿能自动滑出。
其它还好，最急需的功能是： 1.静默刷新。现在是刷新的时候屏幕一片白，不能做任何操作。 2.保持页面滚动的位置。每次点一个url，再回来，就要从上面再往下拉才行，非常麻烦。
最后还是要说 ：是很好的扩展啦～多谢～
另外呼唤一下功能： 1. 收藏/不收藏 2.官方retweet，不用加RT字样的那种

word wrap would be awesome, but i seem i'm not alone asking for that. cut and paste would be good, and possibly an url shrinker.

+1 Some diferenciation between read and unread tweets. Also: Usernames and no real names.
I wish you can put the taps likes "mention" on the top of Metrist. I always use a net book, so I can't see the taps unless I hide the "Start" menu.
let me handle more accounts please :) Just switching from one to another with stored userdata and I'm fine.
The most important issue that needs sorting out is setting up the word wrap thing, ie, breaking the line when the word does not fit in it.
