Chopshop Software Process

Essential to have

1. Be a member of Google Code (chopshop-166 repository)
2. Wind River Workbench installed
3. Latest Wind River update installed from WPI FRC Update site
4. Tortoise HG client installed
5. Be able to download code (ie. wirelessly)

Essential to know

1. How to connect laptop with robot (wireless and/or tethered)
2. How to create a target connection in Workbench
3. How to make a program and run it on the robot
4. How to get Chopshop code from Google into Workbench
5. How to run a program on the cRIO

Advanced

1. Take on a programming assignment (see the Issues database)
2. Understand robot configuration, how to update robot versions
3. Learn Sensor interfaces
4. Learn Vision processing
5. Learn LabVIEW - work on Dashboard
